So I sit here, reminiscing of everything I have done the past 4 years in podcasting/ Audio Producing, There were smiles and good times, along with the bad. But I can safely say that everything I have done to where I am now, Was all worth it.
I am writing this small blog for a few reasons:
1.) I just want to say Thank You to everyone who reads this and has listened/downloaded or spoke to me over the past 4 years whether I have been at Scyther Podcasts, My current network MMR, or the recently retired Dropkick Radio. I sit here looking at recent stats seeing that since I started that over 2,000 people have checked out the feed for MMR, It's more then I ever thought I would get in the history of MMR existing. So thank you to everyone who has taken a vested interest in my ramblings.
2.) Through the Highs and lows I have met/talked with some amazing people, Some I still speak to after almost 5 years, I hope I can mantain a cohesive and professional workmanship with them, Especially as I venture into new projects and ideas.
3.) To announce officially my involvement with a gaming website called The Gamer Scene, As Martyn Licchelli and myself will be producing the official podcast for that website, alongside Video Content and written reviews as well. I have been with TGS since March 2013 and with Martyn at my side I believe we can bring a new flavour to the world of Video Game Journalism.
Now for anyone wanting to know, The Monster Madness Radio Network will still continue, The shows will still continue, whether they trickle out slowly or come on a more regular basis. But they will continue.
For the people asking, I may do a DKR style show for MMR Network so that people who do want to hear my opinions on wrestling can have an outpost for it, Anything involving myself that isn't releated to any project I am involved in will be placed in the MMR Feed. Think of Monster Madness Radio as a way for myself and all the hosts on this network to connect and interact with listeners and fans.
You may have seen that we are starting to use services like Google Hangouts to do a few shows live, That is a service we are using and look to use in the future as we may start doing shows live, Even if I do a random live stream about wrestling, That way we can have live feedback/fans listening in.
So as we come to the 1st Anniversary of the Monster Madness Radio Network, I look back at everything I have done and then I look forward, I cannot wait too see what the future has in store for me, but all I know is that I will share as much of my experiences with you and try and fill you in with as much detail as possible.
So again, Thank you for everything and I hope you will enjoy this new venture that I have started in.
Have a great day everybody
President of the MMR Network
